Bake-Off, circa summer ‘11

Over the summer this past year, we had a bake-off. I had a conversation with my baking partner tonight about how nice it is to spend time like this together, baking and sharing and laughing. It’s nice. It is.

Tonight, months later from last time, we have the second bake-off.

It helps with the blues to have sweets and smiles for hours in good company.

And we have every intention to take first place this time away with our piped macarons from those pesky apple pie winners last time…
